Ingredients like Smoked Leather and Agarwood (Oud) are not for the faint of heart. They have been used for centuries by royalty and leaders to project wealth, mystery, and raw power.
These notes sit heavily at the base of a fragrance pyramid. They are dense, incredibly complex, and often carry a slightly rebellious or animalic edge. Unlike fleeting citrus notes that disappear in the wind, Oud and Leather seep into your skin, lingering for hours and sometimes days. They demand attention rather than politely asking for it, making them the ultimate olfactory power move for men who refuse to be ignored.
How We Mastered the Blend Working with these aggressive ingredients requires precision. If you use too much, the scent becomes suffocating. If you use too little, you lose the impact. When we crafted THE OUTLIERS and APEX, we didn't want them to smell "polite," but they still needed to smell exceptionally refined.
We achieved this by balancing the extreme darkness of the base with sharp, piercing top notes. In THE OUTLIERS, the raw, smoky leather is cut by a sudden, fiery kick of black pepper. In APEX, the heavy, resinous Oud Wood is ignited by vibrant pink pepper. This tension between dark and bright creates a rugged, masculine edge that separates the leaders from the followers.
